A Prayer (aka God & Goddess)

Written five years ago – a former lifetime, it seems now- I searched high and low for this piece and gave it up for lost. Out of the blue, it quite unexpectedly reappeared today.

Close your eyes and see my face;
Fall into my warm embrace.Let me whisper in your ear
All the things you want to hear.

Feel me, smell me, taste me…

Take me;

Heal me, spell me, waste me…

Wake me;

But, not before dawn’s first light
For God and Goddess rule this night.
